At Home - Sona

Celtaur Camhanach - Sona. This wonderful lady came home totally unexpectedly as went to Scotland to work and after working and living with the pup for a week home she came, she was Happy by name, but I knew I couldn't call happy to get her back, but happy it is but in gaelic - SONA.  By and large she lives up to this name, and is to me perfect.

She was shown extensively as a pup and handled by Lorraine as I couldn't get about too well because of a bad knee that year, thanks Lorraine.  She was consistantly placed in huge classes.  We stopped showing her in Junior as she statue went against her, she is one the best movers.  She is a mixture of the more modern lines and the old lines with a sprinkle of working which to me makes her.

She led my 10 month old dog up the garden path and produced 11 adorable pups in 2008. One of the easiest litters I have had to raise as she kept them in line and was a super mum, so much so we are hoping she'll be a mum again in 2009.

Sona is eye tested clear and has a BVA/KC hip score of 6/4.

Sona loves chasing bits of paper, leaves and butterflies, plus she will also flush and point game, exactly as she was bred to do.

Sona is in charge of my pack and is a good leader.
